Dog Head:

1. Cast on 6 stitches
2. Knit and increase 1 into first stitch, repeat in each stitch across row. (12 stitches)
3. Purl
4. *Knit 1, Knit and increase 1 stitch, repeat from * across row. (18 stitches)
5. Purl
6. *Knit 2, Knit and increase 1 stitch, repeat from * across row. (24 stitches)
7. Purl
8. Knit
9. Purl
10. Knit 2 together, repeat across row. (12 stitches)
11. Purl
12. Knit
13. Purl
14. Knit 2 together, repeat across row. (6 stitches)
15. Finish as instructed in animal head finishing instructions on main children's slipper page

Dog Ear:

• Cast on 3 stitches
• Knit
• Knit and increase 1 into first stitch, knit 2
• Knit
• Knit and increase 1 into first stitch, knit 3
• Knit next 4 rows
• Knit 2 stitches together, knit 3
• Knit
• Knit 2 stitches together, knit 2
• Knit
• Cast off in knit (this end will be stitched to the dog head)

Dog Tail:

• Cast on 3 stitches (this end will be stitched to the back of the dog slipper)
• Knit
• Turning Row 1: Knit and increase 1 stitch in the first stitch, knit 2
• Turning Row 2: Knit 2 together, knit 2
• Repeat turning rows 1 and 2; 2 times
• Knit 3 rows
• Repeat turning rows 1 and 2; 2 times
• Knit
• Knit 2 together, knit 1
• Knit
• Knit 2 together
